Specify these where the film faces aggressive service that aliphatic and cycloaliphatic curatives cannot survive.
The performance comes with real handling weight. True aromatic amines like MDA cure slowly, often need a heated post-cure to develop full properties, and raise serious health concerns: MDA is listed as a Substance of Very High Concern on the EU REACH Candidate List and is treated as a suspected carcinogen. MXDA is araliphatic, so it cures faster and carries a lower hazard profile while keeping much of the chemical resistance. Confirm regulatory status for your jurisdiction before specifying MDA.
Match the amine to the hazard you can manage. Where a plant can handle and post-cure a true aromatic amine, MDA gives maximum resistance for linings and grouts.
