Steareth-100 is a high ethoxylated derivative of stearyl alcohol containing approximately 100 moles of ethylene oxide. It is a high-HLB, nonionic surfactant widely used as a solubilizer, emulsifier, and dispersing agent in personal care and industrial formulations. Its excellent water solubility makes it particularly useful for stabilizing oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions, enhancing product clarity, and improving consistency.
