Glyceryl Stearate (GMS)

Glyceryl stearate is an ester of glycerin and stearic acid, commonly used in personal care and pharmaceutical formulations. It is a white to cream-colored wax-like solid with excellent emulsifying and stabilizing properties. This ingredient helps blend water and oil phases, giving creams and lotions a smooth, creamy texture. It also provides emollient benefits, leaving skin soft and hydrated.
