Disodium Phosphate

Disodium Phosphate (DSP) is a moderately alkaline sodium salt of phosphoric acid. It is widely used as an emulsifier, stabilizer, and pH regulator in food processing, particularly in dairy products. DSP prevents coagulation in condensed milk and helps maintain smooth textures in processed cheese. It also functions as an anti-caking agent and is used in water treatment applications.
