Crosslinking / Curing · Synthesis Intermediate
Applications & Use Cases
  • Multifunctional crosslinking coagent for peroxide-cured elastomers (EPDM, EVA, fluoroelastomers, silicone), raising crosslink density, hot-tear strength and compression-set resistance in rubber compounds.
  • Curing coagent and grafting monomer for wire-and-cable insulation and jacketing, where its three allyl groups promote a tight network and improved heat-aging performance.
  • Reactive monomer in unsaturated polyester and thermoset casting resins to increase heat-distortion temperature, hardness and solvent resistance of the cured part.
  • Crosslinking agent for the radiation (electron-beam / gamma) and peroxide curing of polyethylene and engineering thermoplastics to improve thermal and dimensional stability.
  • Synthesis intermediate and reactive diluent in specialty coatings, adhesives and thermoset formulations requiring high-temperature network strength.
