A high-activity alpha-aminoketone Type I photoinitiator used to push cure through dark and heavily pigmented UV formulations. It cleaves under near-UV light to generate radicals, and its efficiency makes it a frequent choice where thicker or more opaque films would otherwise undercure beneath the surface

Full Description
This is the more active relative of the standard morpholinophenyl aminoketone initiators, designed for fast through-cure of pigmented and dark systems. It undergoes Norrish Type I cleavage on UV exposure to initiate free-radical polymerization of acrylate and methacrylate monomers and oligomers. Formulators reach for it in black and heavily colored UV inks, solder masks, screen inks and pigmented coatings where surface-curing initiators leave the underlying layer tacky. It is commonly used alongside a second photoinitiator and co-initiators to balance surface and depth cure. The material carries suspected-reproductive-toxicity and aquatic classifications and must be handled per its safety data sheet
