Primary Role
Film Formation · Coupling / Adhesion Promotion
Applications & Use Cases
  • Serves as the film-forming base polymer in solvent- and water-borne coatings for coated fabrics, synthetic leather, and textile finishes, delivering a continuous flexible film with high abrasion resistance.
  • Formulated into flexible and rigid foams from diisocyanate and polyether/polyester polyol systems for furniture cushioning, insulation, and construction panels.
  • Used as an elastomer base for cast parts, rollers, wheels, and seals where toughness, elasticity, and chemical resistance are required in industrial manufacturing.
  • Acts as the binder and adhesion-promoting resin in industrial paints, protective coatings, and laminating adhesives for construction and general manufacturing.
  • Applied as a flexible topcoat or impregnation on technical textiles and apparel to provide waterproofing, breathability, and durable surface protection.
