Primary Role
Lubrication · Slip / Release
Applications & Use Cases
  • Internal and external lubricant in rigid and flexible PVC compounding, where its polar oxidized groups improve metal-release and fusion balance during extrusion and calendering.
  • Pigment-dispersing and processing aid in color masterbatches and engineering-plastic compounds, reducing melt viscosity and improving filler wet-out.
  • Matting, rub-resistance and slip additive in solvent- and water-based coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes, typically supplied as a micronized powder or wax emulsion.
  • Emulsifiable wax base for textile softeners, sewing-thread lubricants and leather finishes, where the carboxyl functionality allows stable aqueous emulsions.
  • Lubricant and gloss/anti-blocking additive in polishes, coatings and hot-melt formulations for industrial manufacturing.
