- ▸ Very long-term UV/light stabilization with minimal migration
- ▸ Light stabilization of PE, EVA, ABS, TPO and engineering thermoplastics
- ▸ Durable weathering protection for films, profiles and thick-section parts
A grade-specific Safety Data Sheet (SDS) — with the complete hazard classification, handling precautions, and transport information — is supplied with every shipment and available on request. Confirm all safety and regulatory details against the SDS for your specific grade.
Request SDS →It protects polymers by radical scavenging through the self-regenerating HALS mechanism rather than by absorbing UV, and its oligomeric triazine architecture provides among the longest service lives in the HALS class. The N-methyl (pentamethylpiperidine) substitution lowers basicity, which improves behavior in systems sensitive to acidic residues and reduces interaction with certain pigments and co-additives. Formulators use it to stabilize polyethylene, EVA, ABS, TPO and engineering thermoplastics – including thick sections, profiles and films – where minimal volatility and strong extraction resistance over prolonged outdoor exposure are essential, often alongside a UV absorber and antioxidant package
