Die anionische Linie von RawSource für Lebensmittel und Getränke ist klein und spiegelt wider, dass der Katalog Artikel nach ihrer Molekülladung und nicht nach ihrer Verwendung einordnet. The three products grouped here carry anionic or zwitterionic groups, but their food function is not emulsification: two are certified FD&C color additives (Red No. 4 and Red No. 40) and one is taurine, an amino-sulfonic acid supplied as a functional ingredient.

For the certified colors, the trade-off is precision against regulatory exposure. Synthetic certified dyes deliver an exact, batch-reproducible shade with strong stability in low-pH beverages and confectionery, where natural colorants vary lot to lot. Against that, color additives are subject to FDA batch certification and listing, and several face tightening state-level restrictions. FD&C Red No. 4 in particular is not broadly permitted for general food use. Confirm current FDA color-additive status for your application before specifying.

Taurine is supplied as a functional ingredient, commonly used in beverage formulation. Classic anionic food emulsifiers such as stearoyl lactylates or DATEM are not part of this anionic-classed set. For oil-in-water emulsification, the nonionic polysorbate and sorbitan-ester line is the working set.
