PPG-26 is polypropylene glycol, a propylene-oxide homopolymer (it contains no ethylene oxide). Its inverse-solubility cloud-point behavior lets it enter and destabilize foam lamellae as a silicone-free defoamer base, used where silicone carryover onto plating/paint-sensitive parts must be avoided
